I was interviewed by the podcast of the Web Summit Qatar 2026, along with the curator of the exhibition “What’s Between, Between?” at the Media Majlis Museum in Doha.

I served as advisor to of the Exhibition “What’s Between, Between?” on Gulf futurisms at the Media Majlis Museum in Doha, contributing to the narrative development of two digital art installations.

The Berkol Science Fiction Days (Berkol Bilimkurgu Günleri) is an annual festival celebrating science fiction, taking place in Istanbul at the Özgen Berkol Doğan Science Fiction library. I was interviewed about The Speculative Route: Futures from South and Southwest Asia and North Africa (Routledge, 2025) which I co-edited with Sami Ahmad Khan.

I was a guest on the Omelas science fiction podcast, prepared and hosted by my dear friends Jülide Kayaş and İsmail Yamanol, together with the science fiction author Ayşegül Yalvaç. We talked about the relationship between ecology and science fiction.

Theory from the Margins creates spaces where interdisciplinary thinking meets questions of politics and the political. Organized as a reading and discussion community, we meet off/online to discuss works at the edge of current humanities and social science theory and scholarship.
